Two Notes

If you don't want to forget a friend's birthday, an important meeting or other events, a sticky note is all you need. The latest Windows versions incorporate features for placing sticky notes on your desktop, which is quite helpful, but you can do much more with Two Notes. It allows you to place notes in a similar manner, but it is more comfortable and flexible, while the user interface makes this task as easy as possible.

Two Notes is freeware and its setup package is only 456 KB large. You can install the application swiftly, on any Windows edition, from Win 95 to Win 7. The system requirements are very low, making it possible to run Two Notes on any computer, regardless of its performance.

The application presents a small interface on which you can find a few default templates. You may create new ones and edit their category names, color, font, style and size. Templates are represented by small icons, resembling notes. You only need to double click an icon to create a note. It will appear instantly, under your mouse cursor and you can move the note anywhere on the screen.

You can use a series of options, on the top edge of the interface, to create new categories, sort them by name, style, text, color and other criteria. Other options allow you to configure the looks and behavior of the interface.

The sticky notes, as well as the interface, will not get in your way and hinder your work. You can right click a note and select an option to minimize it. The note will appear as a tab, on the upper edge of the screen and you can view its content if you hover over it with your mouse cursor. The interface can be minimized as a system tray icon at any time and you may right click it to find some of the application's functions.
